so they had an argument and katie drives off one day to go see her old boy best friend ( who was like her friend with benefits before she met max cos max n him didn't get on ) while max is at work ( cos he's a firefighter ) and then on the way there she has a big car crash with fire n shit and then max has to come and rescue her but doesn't realise it's her until he sees the car and they have to like rebuild their life cos she can't remember much
